I was born on July 7, 1993 in Salinas California and raised in Prince Georges County, Md. by Torrance Lewis Sr. and Myra Y. Lewis in a mixed household of step children and half siblings. I attended Suitland High School as an International Baccalaureate student. This school was not a very good social environment plagued with drugs and violence. However, there were two safe spaces at his school, the Center for Visual and Performing Arts and International Baccalaureate programs. These programs were held in the “annex” of Suitland High School and were a vital resource to me as I matriculated through high school. I studied sculpture, drawing, and painting and graduated as the only black male in Maryland to receive the IB diploma. I went on to Morehouse College on a full scholarship where I currently study Cinema Television and Emerging Media. During my time at Morehouse, I have entered post production on many different projects like my first docu-film Year On, and my ground breaking work spreading awareness with my #ProjectPropaganda. My most recent accomplishment is participating in the PBS Inauguration Multimedia Short Course.
