JAMES TENSUAN

PHOTOGRAPHER

 

I am currently in my second year at San Jose State University where I am studying journalism with an emphasis on photography. My love for photojournalism began at 16 when I was an intern at my town's weekly newspaper.

 

During my first year of college I traveled to Cuba as part of a study abroad program to produce a publication about the rapidly changing country. The San Francisco Chronicle then published a portfolio of my images.

 

My work has appeared in publications around the Bay Area including the Santa Cruz Sentinel and the San Jose Mercury News. My photos have also been recognized by the San Francisco Bay Area Press Photographers Association.

 

I will be the spring 2013 intern for the San Francisco Chronicle.
